Establishment of the Central European Facilitation Trade Agreement (CEFTA) Secretariat in Brussels
On the 26th of June 2008, in Brussels (Belgium), took place the signing ceremony of the Agreement between Belgium and Central European Facilitation Trade Agreement (CEFTA) on privileges and immunities of CEFTA Secretariat.
The goal of the Agreement is the setting up of the CEFTA Secretariat in Brussels and regulates the main responsibilities of the mentioned Secretariat which will be based on providing the necessary assistance to the Joint Committee and other relevant structures of the CEFTA. The establishment of the CEFTA Secretariat represents one of the main priorities of the Chairmanship of the Republic of Moldova within this regional arrangement.
On behalf of the Republic of Moldova the Agreement was signed by Mrs. Daniela Cujbă, Ambassador, Head of the Republic of Moldova Mission to the European Communities.
